About Ballet for Competitiors
-
Having adjudicated dance competitions and taught master classes throughout the New England area, Michael Wilson is very familiar with the effort it takes to perfect a competitive routine. He knows that as dancers you work very hard to learn your steps, connect emotionally to your music and express your point of view through your choreography.
Certain technical elements distinguish winning dancers from the rest of the competition. Judges like to see stretched feet, tight knees, turned out passes, quick articulate footwork and big effortless jumps.
Ballet for Competitors has been designed to help you improve your technique in ways that will ensure a better competitive performance and higher scores. The combinations are not difficult and when followed and executed correctly, you will find your overall technique and movement quality improve.
You can also purchase the subscription series that includes the basic Ballet for Competitors class video plus monthly installments of additional combinations for barre and center. This is a great way to further develop your technique and incorporate additional combinations into your dance repertoire.
